In his free time, he enjoys anything soccer related, playing guitar, and spending time with family.
1. Tell us about your job at Apeel Sciences.
I’ve been a Technical Field Specialist for about 9 months at Apeel. I work with our supplier partners and the awesome teams on the ground installing and operating our equipment. It’s been amazing learning from a bunch of smart, practical, and innovative people.
2. What are you passionate about?
So many things. Definitely family! Also agriculture and making food systems around the world that feed people. On the less serious side, I am passionate about football/soccer (Celtic FC!).
I am also (probably weirdly) passionate about getting things to work better by creating efficiencies and innovating to make systems work; I am also passionate about learning - about my job and in general.
I feel super-privileged to work at Apeel where I am able to do all of these things with awesome people in an innovative business environment, all while making big things happen.
3. What has been the best day of your life?
Easy - two days top all the rest in my life - the birth of each of my daughters.
4. If you could visit any place in the world where would you go?
I think right now, the answer would be “anywhere outside of my house” given that this quarantine is making us all a little stir crazy :) But if it was another time - I’ve always wanted to explore Patagonia.
5. What is your favorite thing about working at Apeel Sciences?
I am a sucker for working with a team to solve a seemingly intractable problem - and this is what Apeel is all about! In every project I’ve been involved with so far, the teams have shown tremendous resourcefulness and teamwork and a sense of humour. It’s been such a rewarding environment to be a part of.
